Westendorf is an authentic and popular Austrian village, located on a sunny mountain platform in the heart of the Kitzbüheler Alps. It is known for its beautiful environment and gorgeous nature with many possibilities for relaxation and various activities. The fashionable town of Kitzbühel is located at a distance of only 15 kilometres.
The many biking routes, hiking trails and the brand new 18-hole golf course make Westendorf a paradise for biking, hiking and golfing in summer. An ideal destination for active holidaymakers, nature lovers and rest seekers. However, Westendorf is also the perfect destination for a family holiday. There is a wide range of possibilities for family and children's entertainment. Again, boredom simply is not an option! During the winter, Westendorf almost certainly offers loads of snow, creating challenges for everybody. The Alpenrosenbahn can take you to the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental, which is, one of the largest interconnected skiing area of Austria. Together with the skiing area Kirchberg/Kitzbühel, the area offers 500 kilometres of ski slopes and as much as 150 lifts/cable cars. The area has been elected as the best skiing area in the world, more then once! Westendorf has two skiing schools where you or your children can learn how to ski and snowboard at virtually every level. For non-skiers there are also plenty of possibilities to spend the day. And what about ending an active day with some après ski fun?
